Advanced CranioSacral Therapy for Infants, Children and Adults
Now Taking Appointments in Austin, TX
I am happy to announce that I am back in Austin, TX after being in Santiago, Chile for nearly three years. It was a wonderful experience and I loved living in a foreign country. On a trip back to the US, I was able to complete and earn my Diplomate Certification for CranioSacral therapy through the Upledger Institute.
The certification process was rigorous and provided opportunity to dive deep into my understanding of CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and its offshoot, SomatoEmotional Release (SER). Dr. Upledger, the developer of CST, always said to let the patient/ client be your teacher. Indeed, after 15 years of practicing and receiving CST, I can say I have had a profound education!
It is my sincere intention to offer my clients the benefits of my experience, a willingness to listen and support his or her journey towards self-healing, and a professional and comfortable environment.
I look forward to working with you!
All the Best,

What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy is a form of light touch manual bodywork developed by Dr. John Upledger that treats restrictions in the body restoring health and preventing disease. Practitioners do this by feeling for the craniosacral rhythm which is a rhythm in the body separate and distinct from the heart rhythm or breathing rhythm. Stress in the body, tissue damage from accidents, or physical or emotional trauma can alter how this rhythm feels. A CranioSacral therapist can feel the rhythm in different areas of the body. Wherever the rhythm is different or there is a lack of rhythm, the therapist will use soft tissue release techniques to restore movement and balance to the rhythm. As a result, the body tissue moves more freely and often times the source of problems, rather than just the symptoms are resolved. Many of my clients use CranioSacral Therapy for chronic pain situations, TMJ disorder, headaches, low-back pain, and for stress management and wellness. It is also very gentle and effective for infants and children. Some therapists even work on animals.
