When was the last time you gave yourself the gift of a reset?
Or carved out the necessary time to rest and recharge?
I am MeriJayd O’Connor, owner of Austin CranioSacral Therapy and I welcome you to my website and practice!
Maybe you already have something you do to help you balance and return to yourself so your nervous system can take stock and recalibrate.
How wonderful!
And if not, perhaps CranioSacral Therapy can jumpstart the rest, recharge, and balance that you are craving.
When I started practicing massage and CranioSacral Therapy (CST) in 2000, not many people knew about CST. 24 years later, I am impressed that I now get frequent referrals from lactation consultants, dentists, neurologists, and functional medicine practitioners. Parents seek CranioSacral therapists to help their babies and young children navigate challenging medical situations or to help smooth out and integrate birth experiences.
I so appreciate working with tweens and teenagers as they navigate their changing hormones, stress, and social pressures. Not to mention, CST can help ease aches and pains from orthodontia and facilitate healing from sports injuries or concussions.
Many of my adult clients use CST as a regular part of their self-care, often first coming to CranioSacral Therapy because of vertigo, post-covid, stress, allergies, trauma, or loss.
Personally, I think the best way to learn about CST is to experience it. I also think it is important to share what it is, how it works and how to get the most out of the session.
There are many ways that CST can help support health and well-being and it is a true complement to other modalities and treatments. It is safe, gentle and can be so deeply relaxing.
Be sure to check out my blog as I publish more articles all about CranioSacral Therapy and self-care. To schedule or discuss CST for you or your family, please contact me. 512-5174770
